The Joint SDG Fund has entered a new phase of transformative programmes designed to catalyze systemic change, financing and development innovation.

This requires a revamped approach to systemic Theories of Change, based on the most recent systemic design practices and lessons learned from the past 200+ programmes supported by the Joint SDG Fund.

The first step is focused on digitalization in support of other SDG transitions, particularly Food Systems and Decent Jobs/, with strong linkages also to Education, Social Protection, and Climate, and the total investment of over USD 50 million over the next 3 years.

For more information, check the deck of the webinar organized for 13 pathfinder countries on “high-impact” approach digital transformation on 21 Feb 2024. The webinar also includes a novel approach to adaptive implementation.

More exciting updates to come, as these digital programmes launch in June 2024, and another two funding rounds — on Food Systems and on the Global Accelerator for Jobs and Social Protection — follow with catalytic investment of over USD 40 million in another 10 pathfinder countries. The “high-impact” approach tin pathfinder countries on digital, food and jobs/social protection will be accompanied by seed funding in another 30 countries considered at the “early-stage” of incubation of transformative solutions.
